Plant Finance Business Partner (Manufacturing)

Responsibility :

  • Daily review of operating results with plant leadership team including actions focusing on opportunities and areas for actions
  • Participate with Plant Leadership Team on walking the floor (preferably alongside plant manager)
  • Participate in daily/weekly plant leadership team meetings
  • Provide linkage of financial targets and weekly/monthly results to plant and business center operating floor leadership

Driver of Strategic Initiatives (Zero loss thinking, Operational Excellence and others)

  • Principal change agents in plant with Plant Director to drive initiatives, working alongside the plant leadership team.
  • Develop cost savings and plant operational plans to support strategic initiatives (Operational Excellence – e.g. Loss Analysis, Plant Optimization and Lean Run)
  • Oversight of all savings projects at plant

Perform tactical analysis to support solid decision making

  • Insight and education to shop floor leaders on making better production ticket/business decisions
  • Develop talent and finance structure to adequately support plant business centers
  • Implement effective financial analysis tools to improve plant’s performance

Leading all reporting activities, estimates and analysis

  • Coordinate AOP, monthly/quarterly reporting, special analyses as needed
  • Summarize and communicate financial and operating results against objectives
  • Coordinate material cost information and analysis
  • Coordinate production cost/conversion information and analysis
  • Oversight of cost setting process
  • Ensure reporting and submission requirements are met

Capital improvements planning

  • Coordinate development of capital improvements plan
  • Payback and project evaluation and justification
  • Validate project benefit via post-project audits

Change Management

  • Develops thorough understanding of change management philosophies to ensure initiatives are set-up for success
  • Ensures all initiatives have the proper cross functional support
  • Completes change management assessment for organizational readiness

Requirement :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, and 2 years experience in Senior Manager level
  • Experience from Multinational Manufacturing Company is a must
  • Very strong in communication skills, English is a must
