Shopper Manager (FMCG Industry)


  • Translate brand strategy into category commercial plan based on understanding of shopper, category, channel, competition and market. Activities include defining:
  • Assortment strategy by channels / key customers
  • Store picture of success, (reducing shopping barrier); planogram, secondary visibility, in store branding, POSM
  • Promo Playbook for the category
  • In store activation programs
  • Lead formulation and implementation of NPD Go To Market / launch programs
  • Build category reviews and recommendation to ensure category performance
  • Liaise with Consumer/Shopper Insight team to update and ensure translation of Consumer/Shopper insight into category activities in the market
  • Liaise with account team to manage on top trade spend budget for the category
  • Give inputs to category forecast and demand planning process
  • Manage prioritization of category activities within specific channel
  • Ensure channel & account profitability
  • Liaise with account team to identify source of growth within specific channel/key customer, explore optimization of channel resources/facilities 


  • At least 5 years of experienced within area Key Accounts or Trade Marketing or Brand Management in FMCG companies
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on in sales field and trade marketing
  • Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even faced with obstacles
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
  • Fluent (written or oral) in English will be an advantage
  • Willing to travel for work
